PACKAGE SALES 2026
The 2025 packages are sold out. Please check back in January 2026 for updated information.
PCBA contracts to receive 940 bee packages in April and ordering begins in February. This 3-pound package is used for one hive setup; it has approximately 10,000 bees, including a mated queen and her attendants.
Package Policy
The 2025 Package Policy is available here.
The PCBA package policy states that if you decide to NOT take acceptance of a package, that you return it to the club to sell to the next person on the waitlist, as a waitlist is kept and managed by the club. There shall be no reselling or trading of packages.
Ordering Dates
Phase 1: Open to Bee School Students Only, Ordering Begins February 6-February 20, 2025 at 6:30 p.m.
Phase 2: All Active Members as of January 31, Ordering Begins February 21, 2025 at 9 a.m.
Phase 3: Renewed after 1/31 (Grace Period January 2025)/New Members/Non-Members ($175 per package) Ordering Opens March 7 at 9 a.m., based on availability.
Costs and Ordering Information
Packages are $175 each and can be paid for by credit card, cash or check. All package orders must be input through the website for inventory purposes. If you need help when your ordering window opens, please come to a club meeting or contact Ann Rein or Lisa Maguire during your ordering window. To order click here.
All information and ordering links will be posted to the website and emailed out to active members. Links will not be posted to Facebook. You will be able to view the ordering link when your ordering window opens, so please make note of the dates listed above.
For fairness in ordering and inventory management, there is no early ordering allowed, and orders mailed in but not accounted for through the website cannot be honored.
